As members of the non-profit Professional Association German as a Foreign and Second Language (FaDaF e.V.), FaDaF language institutes mostly offer particularly good value for money. The objects of the Association include a commitment to the provision of high-quality courses and associated services. Some member institutes are presented in more detail on this website.
German for academic study and educational exchange programs
The FaDaF course providers introduced on this website are part of the FaDaF Consortium which FaDaF appoints every two years. They specialize in intensive courses for students or applicants for a place at a German university, regardless of whether they are interested in short-term programs like summer courses or examination preparation or in long-term study preparation programs. The courses take place in university towns, many of them actually on campus. Alternatively, online courses are also offered.
Participants can also sit the examinations required for admission to a German university, such as DSH, TestDaF and/or telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule, on site or nearby the language institute. In addition to the face-to-face language courses, other services such as assistance with visa applications, accommodation and excursions are also provided.
FaDaF consortium of course providers at educational fairs
The members of the FaDaF Consortium regularly take part in educational trade fairs abroad as well as online information events (virtual fairs, webinars). Within the framework of the joint presentation of German universities and education providers by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), interested parties can get in touch with representatives of the Consortium and the Association and get advice from them.
